Purple Monkey Balls may appear to be a balanced hybrid strain with a ratio of 50% Indica / 50% Sativa but it is considered to be slightly leaning towards its indica parentage. It is created by crossing a Northern California strain called Grand Daddy Purple and an Afghani pure Indica known as Deep Chunk. Like the Grand Daddy Purple, the nugs of Purple Monkey Balls are dense and fuzzy with purple hues dominating the buds. They are surrounded by orange pistils and are covered with crystalline trichomes. When smoked, the buds of Purple Monkey Balls produce a grape-flavoured aroma. The taste may give you hints of berry and pine.
