Description
This indica-heavy hybrid, which has a sativa/indica ratio of roughly 30:70, is a sweet cross of Blueberry and White Widow, both legendary, powerful strains. The Blue Venom high may be venomous, but THC levels are average, scoring about 28% in at least one test. CBD is much more limited, measuring 0.29% in the same analysis. In other words, this isn’t the best choice of patients looking for an exclusive treatment for seizures and other problems that require CBD. Blue Venom carries the bouquet of its parents, with a strong, fresh berry flavour and a sweet floral smell. The bud is dark green with many dark amber flecks and a thin coating of trichome crystals. The indica body buzz is deeply relaxing but also delivers giggly cerebral effects and a state of calm mental relief. The best uses for Blue Venom include anxiety, depression, migraines and other headaches, chronic pain, and daily stress. Adverse effects aren’t widely discussed, but probably include red eyes and dry mouth. This strain sells well in Oregon and Colorado, but it’s much more popular across the Canadian provinces.
Blue Venom gives off a smooth, easy smoke when burnt and leaves behind a tart blueberry taste on exhale, along with a mild herbal kick, somewhat reminiscent of Jack Herer. Notably, despite its purple hues, this strain has no discernible grape flavours. Smokers should savor Blue Venom’s unique flavour profile in a joint or a freshly-cleaned pipe.

4.5/5. Taste, colour and smell are fantastic. The effects are pretty good, but there’s harder hitting strains.
