Black Star is a perfectly balanced strain (50% Indica / 50% Sativa) created by crossing The Black and Voodoo Star strains. Its THC level ranges from 18% to 22%, somewhat moderate to high but will definitely give you a high that is heavy both in the mind and body. This strain was named after the 90s hip-hop group composed by rappers Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) and Talib Kweli.
The dank bud of Black Star is round, with voluminous nugs that have dark earthy green color accentuated by deep purple undertones and leaves and orange hairs. The nugs are beautifully sprinkled with milky, crystalline trichomes. The appearance of Black Star gives a hint of sweet herbs flavour and a hash-infused, sweet herbal tea aroma.
